Shipping Policy
Tokyo Vintage MIYABI (“MIYABI”, “we”, “us”) provides domestic and international shipping services based on the nature of the order and destination.
1. Domestic Shipping (Within Japan)
All orders shipped within Japan are delivered via Sagawa Express (佐川急便).
Domestic shipments are sent on a cash on delivery (COD) basis. Shipping fees are payable by the customer upon delivery.
The exact shipping fee will be determined by Sagawa Express based on package size and delivery destination.
2. International Shipping
All international orders are shipped via EMS (Express Mail Service) provided by Japan Post.
International shipping fees are charged separately and generally range between JPY 5,000 and JPY 10,000, depending on destination, package size, and weight.
We do not ship to P.O. Boxes or APO/FPO addresses. Delivery availability may vary depending on the destination country or region.
3. Eligible Products for International Shipping
The following product categories are eligible for international shipment:
- Handbags
- Apparel
- Footwear
- Jewelry
- Watches
- Fashion accessories
Customers are responsible for ensuring that purchased items can be legally imported into their destination country.
Certain countries may restrict or prohibit the import of items made with exotic materials (such as crocodile or other protected leathers). MIYABI shall not be held responsible for customs refusal, seizure, or delays resulting from local regulations.
4. Delivery Timeframe
Delivery times are estimates and may vary depending on destination, customs processing, and local postal conditions.
- Japan (Domestic): Typically 1–3 business days after dispatch
- International (EMS): Typically 5–10 business days after dispatch
Delivery times are not guaranteed and may be affected by customs inspections, weather conditions, or other factors beyond our control.
5. Package Tracking
Once your order has been shipped, we will send a shipping confirmation email containing tracking information.
Tracking details may also be available through your order page, depending on the order method.
6. Customs Duties & Import Taxes
For international shipments, orders are shipped on a Delivered Duties Unpaid (DDU) basis unless otherwise stated.
Any import duties, customs fees, value-added tax (VAT), goods and services tax (GST), or other charges imposed by the destination country are the responsibility of the customer and are typically collected at the time of delivery.
To comply with international shipping regulations, MIYABI may provide shipment details—including product description, declared value, and customer contact information—to Japan Post or destination customs authorities as required by law.
7. Shipping Policy Updates
MIYABI reserves the right to update or modify this Shipping Policy at any time. Any changes will be posted on this page and will take effect immediately upon posting.
